so anyone wanna know the origin of my username, wakizashuriken? for anyone who doesn't know, i have this obsession with swords. like i really want a real, battle-ready katana. and when i get to college, i'd really like to take kendo, or something of the sort. or archery, which columbia has. :: prays to get into columbia :: but i shouldn't get my hopes up to be shattered. anyway, there are two types of swords similar to the katana, but smaller, the wakizashi, the middle length one, and the tanto, which is more like a dagger. i fused this with shuriken, which are ninja throwing stars. hence the name wakizashuriken.
so today i missed music theory and half of computer science to take this stupid exam that is supposed to be an analysis of what the average student has learned, the "nation's report card." how friggin imbecilic is that. it's not even random, i mean i got selected to take a math exam.
i took calculus league, and it was hard. really hard. i also realize that after taking other math exams and writing java programs late at night and early in the morning, i don't do too well. but i did do well on the program that i didn't get running til this morning. i am happy. especially cause i didn't even know i could program before senior year. i seriously had no prior knowledge of java or any programming language except for a short introductory camp thing i went to last summer.
i only have art homework tonight, a few sketches. i really need to work on my portfolio. oh and i have a test on hamlet. but i'll get to read and write and draw tonight. yay. and i get to see chevelle on february 26, with ashley bray and lunia. can't wait. ^_^
