header-sized versions of the CSIM icons
okay, before you look at me like i'm nuts-- "hadn't i already seen these somewhere?"-- i have to say that there's a story behind these ^^;;;
if you know me you know that, when i really like how the coloring came out in an icon, i grow unhealthily attached to it. i loved my second CSIM batch so much that i decided i would make a new layout for girls_are_weird based on my favorite icon from that batch (it's basically done, i just have to install it tomorrow ^-^). as i was working on it, i thought "well, the bigger version of the pic for my header came out really good, i should save a copy to the "my images" folder so the image would pop up on my screensaver from time to time. that in particular led me to thinking that maybe i should put some images of the other coloring styles i had in that batch in the screensaver as well, so i set out to do bigger versions of the icons and that's what i've been working on for the last three days. as i was copying the images to the folder, i thought that maybe someone else might be able to use them for something else, like headers and such. so here you have 'em.
i also made a couple new ones that aren't based on old icons, because i couldn't figure out how to fit the images to 100x100, but working on a greater scale that doesn't really matter xD you'll notice that 75% of these have this sort of blurry look to them; i tried that in order to balance out the low quality of the original images (it's easier to do that with icons than it is with bigger images, let me tell you), but then i found out i quite liked the finish it gave the images so i did it with many of the graphics ^.^ the songs used are either from the ryan/calleigh songs thread at talkCSI or songs that personally remind me of the subject of the graphic. you'll find the lyrics used and where they come from below each image, in case the font isn't readable. as the images were originally for my own personal use and i already know which songs they are, i didn't really bother making them readable ^^;;; the ones that don't have text are when i ran out of inspiration =P
please comment if you take (or if it's just to let me know how not modest you think i am... lol, i know i love these coloring methods a bit too much to be normal, i'm just weird like that). if you want them without the text or something, let me know and i'll make you a new copy, ok?
