hehe nice :D you really got the best from the tutorial... oh, that blue gradient, you didn't know where it came from... I made it :P
and lol for that alien red... had the same when I made my aaron icon :P but it works out pretty good at 20% ;)

i shall edit the post & credit immediately ^^ your tutorial was infinitely helpful, so thank you. and yeah, i've noticed that in almost all of my icons there's one layer that always makes me want to scream in fright. some blending modes are so drastic xD but there's always some way to salvage it.
