a slideshow of bizarre japanese ice cream flavors...amazing....
I worked OT today, covering politics...always a good time. I find it odd how disproportionate the number of male journalists covering politics to the number of female reporters doing politics.... it seems like whenever I cover any sort of press thing, I'm pretty much always the only woman, and not just in politics. Interesting.
I finally got the nerve to talk to this guy I kept seeing everywhere...who I was pretty sure I somehow knew...and it turns out I was right. He looks like a Greek warrior or something, and his name is Samson. He invited me to hang out with him and watch ninja films or something, haha. I need tonight to just chill out though, because I'm going to be incredibly busy the next week.
I'm looking forward to burlesque and piano on Monday. I'm addicted to the piano bar night at Savannah's and not just because I think the piano player, Nate, is incredibly adorable. After I sang last week, he hugged me. I should have swooned but I was a bit too drunk. God, he's just so cute and talented.
I haven't felt like writing in this at all lately.....
