The other day I went and spent nearly 50 dollars at Borders....it kind of felt good.
I bought:
The current issue of "ReadyMade" magazine
The new issue of "Bust" magazine
The new issue of "Bitch" magazine
A pocket-sized Italian phrasebook/dictionary for my trip in July
Four books for my mother's first graders
A Vietnamese cookbook for Kevin (but I get to benefit from it when he makes dinner!)
A copy of Ben Folds "Rockin' the Suburbs" on sale
A copy of Gay Tastee's CD for $1 as a joke gift to Kevin (He's this local singer who cracks us up because he just looks so mopey all the time...)

ADDENDUM: Yes indeed, I am going to Italy in early July...mainly to the Tuscan region, Florence and Sienna. I'm actually going with my parents and brother, which should be interesting, hahaha. Looking forward to it though.
