Rating: First, third, and fifth are PG, second is PG-13, fourth is 14A.
Summary: Five different moments from when the Top 3 were playing their show in Toronto with Mookie.
Disclaimer: As far as I know, all of this is completely not real, and isn't intended to offend anyone. It's just for fun.
Notes: These are all drabbles - I'm pretty sure none of them are over 250 words. Each one focuses on a different pairing, and they're all supposed to exist independently of one another. When I was at the show I started to see the little nuances between each of the twosomes, so I just wanted to fiddle around with all of them. The only one I didn't write was Drew/Theo, because I just couldn't come up with anything. /fail.
Theo/Mookie (PG)
“Does Toronto still scare you?”
The sudden voice made Theo jump. He snapped his phone shut and turned to the other boy, surprised that he’d sought him out. “What?”
Mookie shrugged his shoulders. “When you first came out here for Idol, you didn’t take to Toronto well. You never had spare change in your pocket for a subway trip, and you could never figure out which end of the city was east and which was west. You always wanted someone with you if you had to run to the convenience store after dark. You thought every other person on the street was going to mug you.”
“Oh come on, I wasn’t that bad.”
“I know Toronto’s a big city and that it’s a huge adjustment from Alberta. I just… wanted to see if you were comfortable here yet.”
Theo smiled, pleased that Mookie cared. He did a quick scan of the room, and finding no onlookers, reached up on his tiptoes and placed a light kiss on Mookie’s lips. The boy blushed and his hand automatically went to the back of his neck, but a smile started to creep across his lips. Theo grinned at Mookie’s reaction.
“I’m glad to see you too, kiddo.”
Mookie/Mitch (PG-13)
“Dude we keep strikin’ out!”
Mitch snickered into his pint glass and shoved Mookie’s shoulder. “I’m not, you’re the one who can’t get a girl to look at ya!”
“Yeah, thasswhy you’re still sittin’ here with me,” Mookie slurred, taking another swig of beer.
“Excuse me young madam! We were celebrities this summer! Would you care to join us for a pint?” Mitch hollered at a girl walking by. Mookie laughed loudly at his friend when the girl didn’t even look up.
“Dude, you suck at his,” he told Mitch seriously, leaning forward and clapping him on his shoulder. In response, Mitch closed the gap between him and captured Mookie’s lips in a sloppy kiss.
“Fuck, man, what the hell are you doing?” Mookie asked him dizzily.
“I’m lonely and you’re horny. Why the fuck not?”
Mitch returned his lips to Mookie’s, and Mookie wondered idly if he’d remember this in the morning. And when the older boy used a hand to cradle the back of Mookie’s neck, he hoped he would.
Theo/Mitch (PG)
“Sixteen days.”
“Hm?” Mitch mumbled sleepily, his eyes remaining closed.
“Our last show in sixteen days from now,” Theo elaborated. He propped himself up on his elbow to look at the boy in the bed next to him.
Realizing he wasn’t going to get his pre-show nap, Mitch turned his head to look at Theo. “Yeah, I know. What, you getting antsy for it to be over?”
“No, it’s not that, it’s just…” he bit his lip nervously. “We’ve been doing whatever the hell this is since rehearsals, and I was just… I mean, we don’t have to if you don’t want to, but… well, like, once the show’s done, I just…” he trailed off feebly, giving Mitch a hopeless look.
Mitch felt his heart melt a little as he watched Theo stumble over his words. His hand reached up to cup Theo’s cheek and he sat up a little, pressing a kiss against Theo’s lips.
“Just because the tour’s ending doesn’t mean you and I are, too.”
Drew/Mitch (14A)
“Do you have any idea what watching you onstage does to me?”
Mitch smirked as Drew shoved him into the small bathroom and locked the door behind them. “After sixth months? I think I’ve got some idea.”
Rough hands tugged Mitch’s shirt over his head and lips nipped at every inch of skin Drew could reach. A groan escaped Mitch’s lips as his hands crept down to cup Drew’s ass.
“We can’t be long,” he whispered, “Theo’s set will be over soon and they need us for the finale.”
“Fuck the finale,” Drew retorted as his fingers struggled with Mitch’s pants. “God damn it, why did you wear long johns?”
“Mitch?”
The two stilled when a voice called through the bathroom door. “Press wants to talk to you before you go back onstage. Can you come out here?”
Mitch sighed, frustrated. “Be right there,” he called back. He slowly began to dress himself. He shot an apologetic look at Drew. “Can we finish this later?”
Drew gave him a reassuring smile. “We’ve got all the time in the world.”
Drew/Mookie (PG)
“Drew, come on, wait!”
He didn’t stop walking, and Mookie had to jog a few steps forward and grab him by the arm. Drew turned and looked up at him, lips still bruised. Mookie’s eyes searched his face, trying to determine where he’d gone wrong.
“Come on, we haven’t seen each other in weeks. What’s wrong? Everything was fine the last time -”
“Four weeks gave me a lot of time to think, Mooks,” he cut in.
“I don’t get it. Earl and I are over, I swear. Why can’t you and I -”
“It wouldn’t be a good idea.”
“Why not?” Mookie asked quietly.
“Because I don’t want to be ‘that guy’, Mookie. That guy that you hook up with because you’re hurting and horny and missing the last person who told you they loved you.” Their eyes connected and a gentle smiled toyed with the corners of Drew’s mouth. “I want to be the guy.”
end.
