watched the unsubbed last friends last night in the library (instead of studying...)

i think i completely froze at some bits... i mean, ok, i started watching it KNOWING that ryo-chan was going to play an abusive character. but when it was actually presented in front of me...
i hope his character is a bit more complicated than how they presented it in the summaries... i get the feeling the DV isn't just as simple as him WANTING to hurt her... (that and the opening...)
although i realize that despite the fact that i'll be in japan, i won't be able to catch an episode of arashi no himitsu-chan OR last friends IN japan.... (i fly out the afternoon on the day they're aired....). bah.
the song is awesome, as usual...
