(no subject)
Today was not a very fun day at work. First thing in the morning we were sent to go pick up a dead deer on the road. Not too much remained of this creature. When i stepped out of the truck, the stench was horrid. I had to fight to keep myself from gagging. The deer itself was mostly eaten away, its ribs were bore open and out, guts hanging from the bones, most of its hide was gone, and it was barely all connected. Nasty big black shelled bugs were crawling all over it, and the buzzards circled over head. As three of us shoveled the deer and its pieces the stench became unbearable, and the sight ghastly. That was probably one of the most disgusting things i have ever done. After that i had to work on a broken down tractor for two hours in the blazing heat. Once we fixed that the other tractor got a flat tire, so the guy had to ride around with me in the truck, and he listens to the country music station.... I thought i was gonna kill myself... worst music ever. At least i can say the week is half over, as they finished oil and stonin, so i probably (hopefully) wont work on friday... although i like the overtime pay... (helps me skim a lil off the top for the jwtt fund ;-) ) well im hot, sweaty, and i smell like death.. so i need to shower and shave and clean all up.
