Pain is a gift - it came to me with my birth into this world; pain came with the quickening of my first breath...and yet (lest I forget):
There is more to me than this pain - there is resilience
There is more to me than this pain - there is strength
There is more to me than this pain - there is hope
There is more to me than this pain - there is bliss
There is more to me than this pain - there is beauty
There is more to me than this pain - there is serenity
There is more to me than this pain - there is gratitude
There is more to me than this pain - there is admiration
There is more to me than this pain - there is love
There is more to me than this pain - there is satiation
There is more to me than this pain - there is faith
There is more to me than this pain - there is intelligence
There is more to me than this pain - there is dignity
There is more to me than this pain - there is integrity
There is more to me than this pain - there is insight
There is more to me than this pain - there is humor
There is more to me than this pain - there is wit
There is more to me than this pain - there is diligence
There is more to me than this pain - there is dedication
There is more to me than this pain - there is creativity
There is more to me than this pain - there is compassion
There is more to me than this pain - there is grace
There is more to me than this pain - there is peace
There is more to me than this pain - there is truth
There is more to me than this pain - there is curiosity
There is more to me than this pain - there is wonder
This pain does not define me; there is much more to me than this pain can ever be; all that is me stands against this pain, all that is me devours and expels this pain and returns it (thankfully) to whence it came.
Blessed be
