I guess I learned that not everything works out the way you wanted and hoped. You take the best you can get and make the best out of that and try to be happy. It will take time, I'll be sad, I'll wish I was still in that place I was before. But you can't make someone love you no matter how hard you try. Maybe someday when things are better and people have grown into themselves and are ready, then maybe that place can be gone to again.

Until then, have as much of them in your life as they are willing and prepared to give. Because not having them at all...well thats the worst.
