Mother's Day

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend, I was busy yesterday cooking a honey baked ham, mashed potato and green bean casserole for my mother and sister-in-law. The dinner turned out pretty good and for dessert we had strawberry cheesecake. I think my mom enjoyed her day and with everything going on in her life she deserved it. Saturday was a great day, we had an early Mother's Day with my mom's family. It was great seeing family again and just sitting around to midnight laughing and telling old tales. I love family gatherings, when we all break lose and relax.

Well I'm just down to four more days until the bar results come out, talk about nerves stirring this morning. Jeff will be home in three more days and I can hardly wait, although trying to come up with an anniversary gift was a challenge, we've decided since one year anniversary represents paper, we're going to buy a painting together, however, I still wanted to get him a gift for just him, but trying to stay within our budget we gave each other and still manage a nice gift was tough. I just hope he likes what I came up with. We head out to Palm Springs on Saturday to spend the week, we're also going down to San Diego for the day to see some of our friends, I can hardly wait. Although my mother-in-law asked me when we were leaving and coming home, because as she put it we could spend part of our anniversary in Fresno, I can't keep him to myself, they too want to see him and spend time with him. Gee who's anniversary is it? Sometimes in-laws.

This morning, my allergies are bugging me and I forgot to take my medication so I'm just feeling miserable in the sinus area.
