i was just reading some of the entries over at Annie's 'secret service visit kerfuffle thingy' .. and something occurred to me
............
terrorism
n : the calculated use of violence (or threat of violence) against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious or ideological in nature; this is done through intimindation or coercion or instilling fear

so .. if that is terrorism, then you could reasonably argue, that the 'wolf' adverts that Bush's PR machine have churned out for the final week of election haggling, are an act of terrorism in themselves.
should someone lock him up in Cuba, without trial and without charge?
