I first heard "My Body is a Cage" -- my song of the moment -- in a Peter Gabriel video of his concerts of his recent album. I'd never heard the Arcade Fire original, but I did think it seemed a very "Peter Gabriel-esque" song.
Some of the recent ads for John Carter have featured the original in the background. Now, I don't know how many of you are familiar with the details of Princess of Mars, ER Burroughs' first Martian tale, a book that captures Planetary Romance so neatly that everything that came
after it seems to be a tribute to it. However the chorus, despite what the song is actually about, has got to be the most John Carter Spoilerific Song Evar (sic).
