Okay, my computer is eating my mp3s. Itunes randomly can't find mp3s sometimes. Any suggestions?

Is it that they're not there, when you go to find them and add them to iTunes, or does iTunes just not recognize them when you add them?

itunes will play them for a while, then one day i'll open itunes and a few of them will be missing... still on the playlist, but with that ! beside them.

Defrag and scandisk your computer
Then run a virus scan and look for adware
Your harddrive might fragmented, or it might be something else.
How old is your computer?

this is its... third year.. i got it beginning of first year.

Hmm. Mine's the same age.
Maybe the drive's just fragmented and a clean might help. I dunno.
