Schedule.
My, my. Things are certainly shaping up to be...interesting. I haven't had my first day of classes yet but I have talked a bit with some of the other students and soon I will be leaving to fix up someone's car. His name is Ban.
Most of the people I've talked a little with seem very nice a welcoming, and needless to say they are all quite...interesting folk. I suppose living out in the country in a fairly isolated place makes you incredibly sheltered whether you realize it or not but as of recent I've been learning that there are more extraordinary things out there...not just alchemy. Most of my life I just grew up in my home and since I was home schooled I never really got out all that much. I never really minded but I'm now glad I'm going to this school. It is opening my mind up to new things---and despite all the bad things I've been hearing about it I am not going to back out.
It is crazy really...the school is a castle. I've heard things about dungeons, kidnappings, evil vice principles, and worst of all--MONSTERS. At first I thought it was some kind of joke, something they do to the 'new kid' but people seem so sincere and so many people have told me about it that it is becoming harder and harder to deny. To be honest I'm a little scared now but a nice girl by the name of Lina offered me some protection. She did say though that with my wrench it seems like I'm not as helpless and I think I am. That is good, I hate the idea of being helpless.
Among other people I met were several newcomers---I didn't get most of their names however. I ought to. There is Vaan who like me has never attended an actual school before. He seemed really nice and I'd like to get to know him more. There is a man who owns an airship (!!!!). Another girl offered to make me some welcoming cupcakes. Isn't that the sweetest thing you've ever heard? The school make be pretty screwed but at least its students are a kindly lot. Well, at least all the ones I've met so far.
Anyway. I got my class list today.
History, Creative Writing, Statistics, Chemistry, PE, Shop, Drama, Music.
Nothing I'm really looking forward to other than shop. Most of the classes I have are just to fulfill credits. I'm rather dreading creative writing. I was never really good with that stuff. Anyway I better leave now, I don't want to keep Ban waiting.
