“I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you a little more about Surge. Imagine a room full of teenagers, some Christian, some not. The lights come up and the stage is like you’ve never seen it before. A great set design and a dim haze fills the air, as it pronounces the carefully placed lighting sequences...somewhat like a concert atmosphere. There’s an awesome band, great Hip-Hop dancing, and a straight-to-the-point drama, proclaiming the message of Jesus. The greatest thing about all of this is that you, the students, have the biggest part in it, from set design and construction, to dancing and singing, acting, praying, and much more. God has placed you in this world at this specific time, in this specific place, to be a minister to a lost world without love and forgiveness. How will you proclaim God’s message?” by Danny Furukawa.
