Odd that it thinks me a Yankee; I grew up in Michigan, Dad in the mid-Midwest and Mom just south of the Mason-Dixon line.
Some of those terms, though, I choose to say the way I do because I think they sound better. For example, I say "route" like a Canadian, eh.
