Another 101 update
50. Set up my old electronic keyboard in a comfortable spot.
83. Clear enough space in my room that I can walk from the door to my desk without carefully stepping around things.
84. Get all of my apartment stuff out of the front hallway.
93. Stake my claim on the barstools by the kitchen.
Yep, yesterday I made some real progress on my room. Threw about three trash bags of stuff out in the hall to be donated to the Salvation Army, threw away another bag's worth of stuff, and revealed that my bedroom does, indeed, have a floor. And all between the first five episodes of "Lost" Season 2 and the season premiere of "Nip/Tuck." Mom helped.
Going through all that old stuff and deciding what to keep is really a trying, sometimes painful, exercise. Letters from friends who drifted away long ago, gifts I don't even remember receiving, sympathy cards from tough times - they all got stuffed away in boxes in the closet.
On a lighter note, I found my old Cabbage Patch doll. She's black. My mom's awesome.
