Anna and I have been in a decorating frenzy, mainly concerning our mantlepiece. Here is a picture:
It's not really themed, but we've got both Seal (of "Kiss From a Rose" fame) and Chris Isaak (of "Wicked Game" fame, but he's also acted in a couple of David Lynch movies) posters, both purchased on eBay, a poster of an anthropomorphic bear wearing suspenders (but no pants) and playing a tuba, and a "poster" which is actually a page Anna scanned/printed out of her anthro book that is a picture of a 19th century gentleman playing the flute in the countryside. The title of the chapter is "Rational and Sensitive," which I think is awesome.
Here you can see the two smaller posters a bit better, as well as some of our sculptural objets d'art, which include two bizarre wooden monster/horse statues Anna got in Mexico, the Schweppes can thing Jesse made me, the poodle statue my parents sent me for Valentine's Day (you can't see those last two), and two creepy little statue things Anna found somewhere. We also proudly display the Haverford College Songbook and the sheet music to "Shrimp Boats (A-Comin' There's Dancin' Tonight)." Anyway.... this entry has no real point, but that's sort of the latest cool thing to happen in my life. My mantle, that is. So there you go. I'm going to go to assloads of homework now.
