I now have a flowchart explaining all the directions my life can go. I think I'm going to go in the direction of "develop serious drug addiction (i.e. speed, crank)" then follow the path of "move to bangladesh and build hammocks."
All in all, a productive evening.
Highlights of the past few days:
-My 7:30-2:30 gig as a substitute paraprofessional at Leland and Gray Union High School. You know what I love about high school boys with ADHD...
-My 2:30-always gig as Emily Freeman's "First-best friend." That's not a chronological distinction. It's a QUALITY distinction.
-Seeing Hannah Fjeld TWO TIMES IN ONE WEEK. She is my favorite.
-Seeing "The Squid and the Whale" and loving it on Wednesday night.
-Seeing "Brokeback Mountain" and getting devestated on Thursday night (and loving it just the same).
-Seeing both for free.
-Drinking a lot of coffee.
-Taking some naps.
-Journeys to random sketchy parts of Brattleboro (ie the hobo hole).
-Andrew Turgeon in general.
-Developing a plan for the next few days.
-Agonizing over a plan for the next few years.
-Neither packing nor doing laundry.
-Reading "Sex Drugs and Cocoa Puffs," "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas," and "Mountains Beyond Mountains." (in reverse favorite order)
-Oatmeal. Lots of it.
-My ex-French professor whose class I did well in telling me that he doesn't think it's a good idea for him to write my recommendation for studying in Paris, and the freak-out that followed.
-Driving around listening to my awesome "Jam-uary" mix (now in the posession of the aforementioned Hannah Fjeld).
-Wandering around the co-op a lot.
-Hanging around the latchis a lot.
-Being tired.
Which brings me to my second point: I'm going to bed.
