They key to overcoming Shop Anxiety
I reccomend shopping VERY late at night, in empty stores, especially when not looking for anything specifically.
I decided that mall shopping is non existant, really. Unless I can only get something from the mall. I will always go to the mall with FRIENDS just to hang out and window shop. I prefer to window surf...
However tonight I decided that if I shop at Wal Mart, anytime from 10-like 6 in the morning or a bit later even, I'm on top of my game and can find all of the right things for all of the right prices, etc, etc.
Things that helped? Finding a toy to play with while searching for things. Like a ball, a ball is a good thing. One that wont easly get away. Something to play with or handle.
I decided that if I'm ever in a LOT of trouble, and feel terrible, I'll just ask one of the may i help you ladies to walk with me and help me find things and assist me on my shopping, and pay them 10 bucks.
But I think I'm set. So I finally bought something for EVERYONE minus Jessica, Joe, and Kai and Zach. Oh yeah and Kevin. Well, not Danielle either, but I know what I'm getting them. Lucky for them, my limit allows me to spend umm 60 bucks more. lol don't worry, I wont. I can spend like. 15 on everyone but Kevin's may be like 25. million. Okay no. 15 isn't great, I wish it were better, but it's better than nothing and I'm finding good things for better prices at a lot of places.
Wonderful. A lot of stress off my back. Oh yeah, and I bought a shirt with snoopy and woodstock sleeping, because I've wanted that shirt for so long. It's officially my relax tee. For days when I should be stressed. I'll even wear it under my uniform :P
I got another update for later, but for now-journaling. And bedtime. I gotta wake up EARLY and work on my bike.
