if you knew what would happen in 20 years, would you do what you are doing now? life can change in an instant and who are we to take that for granted. we are mear beings in a world of life. there is more than us. there is more than me and more than you. selfishness is carelessness. people mean everything to people. its wierd that we never really act that way though. when everything is said and done, who will be standing next to you? why? have you earned that respect and that love or have you just expected that it will always be there. acted like it meant nothing when it meant everything. didnt put any effort into it thinking that someone will always be there when you need them. pushing people away when you want them to be close. its hard to examine yourself...but sometimes thats the only way you realize why you do the things you do. and hurt the people that you hurt. everyone does it. everyone is put in situations they dont like. its not what happens to you, its how you deal with the happening that matters.
