Tea, Gizmo and tissues...mmhmm!
I'm pretty sure I had the perfect Valentine's Day.
Why? Well, because I was sick. It gave me an excuse to sleep the day away, avoid the public, and drink tons and tons of tea. It was an absolutely wonderful day (aside from being deathly ill).
Here's a snapshot of what my day consisted of...
I drank two teapot's worth of mint tea with honey. It was delectable and just what the doctor ordered.

I don't think I got the job in Italy. Word is that they've narrowed it down to two applicants. One of which is an actual Italian living in Florence already, and the other, they think is an old student that attended HUF.
Strangely enough, I'm not all that disappointed. Yes, I would've loved the job, and yes, it was nearly perfect. BUT, who am I kidding...perfect would be if the job were in Greece.
So that only leaves one thing to do...create that same job for myself in Greece.
I have a meeting with Dr. Hopper (head of international programs) about doing just that. Wish me luck!
