Doctor Who: am I missing something?
So in the previous season we discover that the Silence want to kill the Doctor before the question "Doctor who?" is answered on the fields of Trenzalore. Last night we see the question being answered, and all that happens is that the Doctor almost got killed by a bad guy. Why would you want to kill someone in order to prevent someone else trying to kill them?
Maybe they were big fans of Mass Effect...
