The line-up includes; 뮤직배크 출연자: 애프터스쿨 (After School), 현아 (HyunA), F.CUZ, 샤이니 (SHINee), 아이유, BEAST, 은지원 (Eun Ji Won), 린, 케이윌, 디셈버, 브라이언, Lucy, 티아라 (T-ARA), 제이디, AB 에비뉴, 윤하, 신승훈, 쥬얼리, KCM, 윤서진, 슈, 디아.
I will only be talking about those people I bold-ed because I will run out of vocabulary if I were to review each of the performance.
F.Cuz.
I was nervous for them. I really was, ever since their member by member teaser was out, I was nervous. There were a lot of hype about them and the teasers they gave out help build that hype up. I prayed that they will be able to hit that hype or expectation that people have for them. & When I heard that they needed to be treated for exhaustion a day before their debut? I was more worried.
Will they be able to debut well? Will they be able to exceed expectation? Will they be able to satisfy the fans or people watching them? Most importantly, will I be impress? To tell you the truth, when I saw their MV teaser and heard Jiggy for the first time, I was hesitant. I actually didn't want them to go for that style after watching their member introduction. I was hoping for a more manlier / stronger beats song. I can't help but hope for that type of song because; 1- I like stronger beats song, 2- When I saw their introduction, I saw that, I saw them singing and dancing to a manlier song. (KAN with Rainism? It gave off that man-ly vibe. :p )
But after thinking about it, I think it was a good choice to go for that song, since almost all of the boy groups are going for the 'Man' theme (2PM, SHINee, U-Kiss and so on) Anyway, to the performance. I love Kan's outfit the most and that's probably bias but yeah. I don't like Ye Jun's glove, too dishwasher for me. And, Jinon's outfit, I don't understand why that bow tie is there. But, singing and dancing wise, I was satisfied, they were a bit down here and there but they were able to cover that whole thing up. They regain that strong vocal fast. So I'm glad. I have to say, there's a lot of things going on in their dance. Hands, feet, it's like a lot of moves so I'll give them props for that. In the end? I love their debut and is satisfy with it.
Hyun A.
Change, featuring Jun Hyung. I was really excited for this stage, I really was. But I knew something would turn me off and something did. I wished her choreographers, trainers, manager or her CEO even, tells her not to sing the whole song. I wished the team would have decided on which part of the song will she sing and not sing. While I was listening and watching her performance, I felt like Hyun A was out of breath A LOT. That makes me go 'Oh.' I wished the company realised that she can not sing the whole lines and she needed, obviously, back-up vocals, she's doing this singing ALONE and the song she's singing require a lot of breathing.
With that choreography, she would need time to breath. She needs to practice her breathing. I know some people would be defensive over this but I can not stand it when a performer does not realise or figure a way to get that 'out-of-breath' incident from happening. But, I will admit, she started off strong in the beginning but towards the second verse, *sigh. Or maybe her vocal's quality was just un-stable for that day or she was simply nervous. But I can not help but hate the fact that they are not doing anything with it, Team / Company, do something about this.She's doing way too many things in this performance and it's gonna distract the vocals and stamina.
& I have to say, I understand they want to show off Hyun A's dancing and rapping skill full out to prove to the world that she's awesome but yeah. I also will not deny, she has charisma and talent but she just needs to work out that talent more. In the end? I just liked the performance and I am proud of her.
BEAST.
Can I just say, Stylist, please keep Hyun Seung hair that way till the end of the promotion. Haha. I love this performance because I see all of them sporting good hair, so I was glad for that. I think as they sing more, they are becoming stronger in their performances. For that, I am glad. Doo Joon, :D. The outfit was alright, I wished they still went for the blue, red concept but suits is never wrong. I think, this boys are improving and are captivating hearts of the fan and I'm glad. What I like about them and this performance is that, every time they perform, they get better and better. I know they are tired but I'm glad they try hard to show a powerful and awesome performance. And, don't you just love their dance break? This time, Ki Kwang did not do that back flip but it still is awesome.
Eun Ji Won.
Our choding, I love. I liked the opening of this performance. I always love the foot stomping parts and I just love his performance. He never fails to impress me so that's really good. I think he's awesome. I've always love this song and when he performs it, It just makes me love it more. The simple steps but really well choreograph is awesome. I mean, who doesn't like those simple steps? It's easy to follow but it's like a new thing. Haha.
SHINee.
The first thing I scribbled down on my notes were; I don't like the jeans on Minho. I don't know why, I just didn't but I liked the checkered shirt on Jong Hyun. I have to say, vocal wise, all of them are getting better but they were always good since their debut so no complains there. But, what I like about them when they sing their chorus is the blending of the voice. I hear two-three voices during chorus unlike some group, I only here one voice even though the rest are singing. I like it when I hear different voice but they need to blend well. When different voices blends together perfectly, it will produce a good song and tune. And I hear that when SHINee sings their chorus. I can't help but say Jong Hyun's voice is the bomb, it's perfect, it never goes out of tune and he sings passionately without trying sometimes. I love that voice. You know what else I scribbled? "FIRE WORKS,T-T" It reminded me of that time when Key had difficulty singing after the fireworks were played and during today's performance, they were close to it but thankfully nothing happened. I would also like to add, that, SHINee never fails to impress me. Never.
After School.
I just realised that someone in After School has a voice which is not suitable for this type of slow song. It reminded me of that time when a singer were singing but I can't hear what she's singing. I sighed at this. I went, now I know what's bothering me. That's all I wanted to say. BUT, they did awesome in their performance, the choreography was perfect and as usual Gahee and Bekha / Bekah impressed me.
T-ARA
Where did Ji-Yoon went? Maybe she's busy with God of Study. Anyway, they are finally wearing one decent outfit but that tail is still there. I really like Boram, because the rest of the girls uses this really -sweetened- voice, as I like to describe it. It's that voice, which is all cute but annoys me a lot. Boram doesn't do that most of the time so that's the reason why I like her. Qri took over Ji-Yoon's solo dance and I think it's nice because Q-Ri didn't really get the equal attention the others get during their Lies days.
& T-ARA won. :)
Anyway, this IS a personal view so I don't need fans to be all defensive. :) It's just an honest opinion and view.
