Just got in from seeing Anchorman. Bah, I'm sure now that I just wasn't in the mood to see it. Sure I laughed, and now that I recall the movie, Will Farrel is hysterical... always is. I was just so disappointed and cynical like as I sat there and Elise, Keith and Bill all laughing, laughing the night away. I sat back wishing we had seen King Arthur instead. To which Keith says, "Arianne, were you expecting anything more?" No Keith, I don't know. I don't suppose I was expecting anything more. Or maybe I was - CRIMENY! I so did not enjoy that movie.
I think this is because I have made a habit of only seeing movies with depth, and leaving the slap-stick stuff (whcih I truly, thoroughly enjoy, when I'm in the mood) to DVD rentals. But tis okay. I had a good time with people I love.
No, actually, the only thing making it worth seeing is the cameo by my very own, Luke the Beautiful Wilson.
