So, let's see... Sunday morning I talked to Landon on AolIM for a couple hours till he had to go back to bed b/c he's sick. Poor Landon... Hmmm... That ends the list of interesting things that happened Sunday...
Monday morning I got up and came down to my parents' house to hook up with Molly and David for Monday Morning Breakfast Club. We ended up eating at the Cracker Barrel, which neither of us wanted to eat at. We wanted to go to Shoney's. But, alas, we ate at Cracker Barrel. Then, Molly, David, and I went to RuggedWearhouse to get some pajama pants for David. We found nothing useful and David left. Molly and I went to Books-a-Million to buy some manga, and then onward to Legends to work out for awhile. God, I am so out of shape. Those machines were kicking my ass! Yeah, so then we went to The Daily Grind for some coffee drinks(blech), a veggie wrap(yum), and some water(yay!). Then home to finish our manga and give Mama fits. Yeah, Molly and I were going to go to Grand Bay to take some pics but I kind of crashed out on the sofa in the living room, and there went that plan. Yeah.
Molly finally finished the portrait she was painting for me of Pinky and she is not happy with how it turned out. I'm still deciding where I'm going to put it in my house. Maybe I should ask her if she even wants me to display it or not... I already know I'm keeping it. I like it, but Molly can be pretty hard on herself, and sometimes she doesn't want me exhibiting the artwork she's not happy with. Yeah, crazy girl!
So, she's started on another painting for me, and hopefully she will be inspired with this one and finish it in a timely manner and in a way she is happy with. I don't like it when she's not happy with her artwork. Especially when she's got more talent in her pinky toe than I do in my entire body. The only thing I'm good at is putting people down, giving random advice that usually does more harm than good, and writing poems, lyrics, and short stories. And I'm never happy with them, so I guess we're alike in that at least. Neither of us is ever satisfied with the outcome of our various talents. Oh well.
I can't think of anything else worth saying, so I will bid you happy people adieu!
Oh yeah, Molly and I are going to be in Atlanta the 28th through the 30th. So, I finally get to see Josh's apartment, maybe, and I get to meet Jaqueline, hopefully. Who knows what mischief Molly and I will be able to get into while we are there. Mmmmm... mischief. Sounds like fun already!
