i can't believe this is happening again. grade 6 today and a girl suddenly pops up and says, "i got it! i've been trying to figure out who you look like. have you ever seen "boy meets world?" yeah! you look like topanga!!!"
?!?!WHAT?!?!?
the weird thing is, this is not the first time. kids last year said the same thing. buuuuut i look nothing like this little tart.
http://www.spacesurfer.com/wceleb/list/Danielle_Fishel_p1.html best part of the day, so far, was again a typing scenerio. i went to the lab with them and did the typing program along with them. there were all these tests you can take and you simply type under each line, just as it says. there was one in particular that was very comical. why this is a typing exercise, i'm not sure, but, it was structured in the following manner:
Russ said Joe had his red overhauled
Dodge for sale. I looked over a used
Volvo. I looked over a used Ford Fred
has for sale. He said his Ford is solid.
Joe is a fair lad. I feel I should look
over his old Dodge.
HAHAHAHAHAHA
it's not just the content that's hysterical, it's also the format. i had to stop typing for a bit and question, "huh? what's a used ford fred?... oooooooh..." and, you know, right on... that ford of his is SOLID! and i'm glad to hear that joe is a fair lad. lads usually drive red overhauled dodges, from what i hear.
and just this very moment i heard a child in the hall yell, "BOO-YA!"
