Pirate and Princess Party!
You heard right. We went to the Pirate and Princess Party at Magic Kingdom last night from 7:30 to 12:30. It was an extra $30 for the night but it was worth it. They had a special parade and fireworks for the event and candy and bead booty all over the park. It was a lot like Halloween as a kid. We dressed up (I was Esmeralda), ran around getting candy, and went on the Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan, and Space Mountain of course... :) Twelve of us went, and combined, we make the most Disney-obsessed group of people I have ever met. It's great! I love when everyone around you knows what you're talking about when you quote movies and sing along to the music. There were extra shows for the event and a lot of Jack Sparrows. They're all really good at it. I don't know where they find all these drunk pirates in a land locked city... :)
Still having fun at work. We had a 2 hour meeting to make an animal program internship web site, this way people like Emily know what the hell they're getting themselves into if they work at Disney. I know, I just said a meeting was fun... but it's true! I have to work tomorrow to make up for missing Monday (being in LA and all), then Sunday we're going to Epcot for my birthday celebration. I'm the crazy that wants to go back to work on my birthday (well "work" is a relative term). Otherwise, still making PVC pipe objects for dolphin match-to-sample research, still doing research, and still loving the job. Ok enough of this sickly sweet stuff... Have a Magical Day! :-P
