Hey y'all
It's been, fuck, a long, long time since I've last updated this blasted thing. I'm not quite sure why i choose tonight of all ngihts to update you with my enthralling tales on skipping class to drink tea in the common room all day, but there you are. I'm just a mad bastard like that.
I did win 1st place in my category of Physical Sciences last week at some smallish, make-do science fair (after January, it looks so amateur!)
I also won a national award in pharmaceutical sciences and chemistry which was molto bene.
And some professor got very, strangely excited, over the entire concept and now I'm expecting to be put int contact with the electronic engineering department in the nearest IT.
So that's all pretty cool. It's my 3rd year doing it, and last year will be my last chance, so that'll be like an end of an era :P
Also painfully busy week ahead, especially as it's the Easter holidays :(
- Friday night is a BBQ and sleepover-thingy-ma-bob
- Sunday is Easter (woo...)
- Monday is shopping for Italy and sleepover-thingy-ma-bob-again
- Wednesday and Thursday is some kinda camping hike thing, although I cna probably wheedle my way out of hiking with a bum leg.
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday is camping and kayaking and weird shit like that.
- Monday is a laucnh part for this CD thing that apprently I was on, but I don't remember too much.
- Tuesday I pack.
- Tuesday night I leave for Italy
- Sunday night I come back from Italia, hopefully with a stunning Italian boyfriend, although this is currently up for debate.I also have no idea how I'm getting from the bus-stop to my house. Because I am not hauling out a suitcase at 3am four miles with a shit leg. May have to camp at bus-stop. Or sleep in the 24hr Tesco. Hmm....high-end living, huh?
After that I haven't made any plans. Because right now Italy is the be-all and end-all.
I really hoped that after this year I'd have had some progress with this fucking useless limb. I'm on the 20 decade long list for another MRI scan. Cut down on painkillers cause I'm now using electro-shock therapy. Talk of a non-traumatic amputation, which is God knows, the most ridiculous idea I have heard in quite a long time.
Also told to "Just have faith". They have yet to elaborate on what I'm to have faith in.
Started a new FanFic about a week ago, which means it should be done in, oh, let's say 13 months? It's painfully slow progress, but I was saddened by the lack of Sherlock fic incorporating BSL of even the idea of being Deaf. So yes, started that. About 1.5k words in, not a huge amount, but slowly.
Anyways, I'm fagged and shagged so I'm off to bed.
Oh, one last thing, why are you still reading this?
