How is everyone? Well, I hope :)
So yesterday was my birthday! I'm officially 19, and a thank you to all those who messaged me.
My most-perfect day went like this...
I woke up next to Sach, and he made me breakfast in bed! All my favourites... Bacon and eggs, ripe strawberries and segmented oranges and our gorgeous King Island yogurt (it was Honey and Cinnamon because he couldn't find Lemon Myrtle Honey flavour). He then gave me my presents! I was presented with a very big and colourful bag (because I always end up at his place with all my things crammed into two bags and I whine about it :P) And inside it was a bottle of Be Delicious by DKNY! There's a story behind this present that goes like this - We made friends with this dude named Joe at Myers in Sydney Central Plaza. He's this buff African-American and he's very obviously interested in men (he keeps on hitting on Sach...). We visit him whenever we're near and he's grown to expect us. He gives us tons of free samples and he shows us all the new frangrances... One of which was Be Delicious, which Sach and I both adored but was too poor to buy. But now I own it, and I smell nice :D
We were going to see Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka but alas we slept in too late. So we went to the next activity on the list - We went to North Bondi to visit his half-brother Cakey at his newly acquired cafe, Three Eggs (formerly the famous Brown Sugar, but I'm sure nobody is as obsessed about reading Good Living as I am). We had a beautiful lunch, and Cakey is such a champion. He showed us around and he made me feel heaps welcomed. The pear and mint frappe he made was breezy heaven in a tumbler. After coffee, Cakey presented me with a candled friand and him and the hot barista, Brad, sang me "Happy Birthday". How perfect.
The lunch was at no charge either :) Cakey said that we are welcomed to display artwork in his cafe, which would be excellent considering his patronage. For Cakey being quality, Sach and I are creating something for him personally... We considered appropriating Andy Warhol's Marilyn but with Cakey's face instead :D
We then came home and I got my presents and dinner and we ate a lovely pink birthday cake whilst we watched my parent's wedding video.
