It occurs to me as I read these snippets (and review them out of order, heh) that each of them are by themselves both complete and incomplete. Sort of like the reflection of the sun from an open window onto the floor--you know the shape of the window, it's familiar to you, and you love to see each block of bright sun, to rub your feet on the carpet--but you definitely notice when something's blocking the rays.

I hope that makes sense. It is a compliment, in case that doesn't come across!

Yay! I'm so glad you're still reading, and thank you for your thoughtful comments! It's true, some of the stories are definitely much more stand-alone than others, but they all fit into the whole . . . and my hope, anyway, is that each one shades in their lives, and this world, a little more. :D
