Okay, so that one was ridiculously easy. $.25 + $.5 is the only combination of two US coins that add up to $.30
Here's one that might require some digging.
I am playing a musical note whose pitch is exactly 440 cycles/second. I add two more pitches to make a Major 1 chord. What are the frequencies of these other two notes.
Please assume that the 440 Hz note is the root of the chord, the other notes are both higher pitches, and that they are all within an octave of the root note.
