My old high school kinda sucks.

Today I was talking to Megan, who graduates this year, and found out something interesting. Our school says the Pledge of Allegiance by way of intercom; each day one student who volunteers or gets forced into it by a random teacher will say it over the intercom, and all of the students in each classroom will follow. They've been doing it that way for years, but the student who said the pledge today was none other than the Vietnamese exchange student.

I mean... really? It's a free country and I guess he can say a foreign pledge of allegiance if he wants to, and lead a group of actual citizens in doing so, but... it doesn't... I don't even know.
