For those I haven't already told, I have just accepted a promotion/transfer from GIS Cartographer to GIS Technician. It comes with a pay rise of more than 10%, and allows me to move into a field more in line with my studies in I.T.
This is good.
I was headhunted by the manager of another department who said "we have to go through a formal internal offering, but I strongly suggest you put in your application - I was accepted and they waived the interview and probationary periods.
So yeah. yay.
