Agh. They got TorrentSpy. The government wants TorrentSpy to begin tracking IP addresses of people who use it. The site itself got an extention until today, which is lucky, because I didn't hear about it until today. Sooooo...no more TorrentSpy for me. And if any of you have been using it as well, you shouldn't use it either.
Because now they may have to start tracking IP addresses so the big bad industries can make money off people who want to sample albums or movies before they go out and buy them. Ridiculous. I mean, the majority of bands out there now don't give a shit, and alot of them encourage downloading their albums for free. I mean, I can understand that they want you to BUY it so you can experience the full effect of the album (art, booklet, bonus stuff on some albums) but most of them don't see a dime from their record sales anyway.
Ah well. It's not like there aren't 2,000,000,000,000,000 other torrent sites out there.
But yeah. Just a heads up. Don't use TorrentSpy anymore.
On a lighter note, Travis bought THIS and THIS today. They're so rad. Especially Optimus. He apparently likes to chase after containers of parmesan cheese.
And I'm not quite sure how to feel about THIS. Why does Megatron resemble some sort of futuristic catamaran? I mean, I know a giant gun is a little ridiculous, but...jeez.
Our old Canon PowerShot camera works again. Go figure. That's rad. Now we have a backup.
Yay for the games on Windows Live. They give me points, and if I get 35,000 points, I can get an XBox 360. FO' FREE.
