I've got some interesting charges being pressed on my for something that occured in Denton about...oh, six months ago.
So, I thought I was gonna go to jail, you know, for a long time. 3 years looked about right. Turns out that all I'll probably get is a deferred to adjudication and six months probation. Plus some hefty legal fees. I'm gonna go meet with my lawyer sometime next week (he's a friend of my mom's); in the meantime, all I'm really concerned about is the police deciding to put out a warrant for my arrest for whatever stupid reason. I don't want to spend New Year's sitting in jail.
In other news, went Christmas shoppin' with Justin the other day. Good times. He's such a sweetheart - bought me a nice scarf at Munsingwear, and we had lots of laughs.
I guess my life is pretty good. I'm lucky; coulda been a lot worse.
