Last week, I went to see Transformers 2. Which wasn't very good. Some parts were better than the first one, it was easier to see what was going on with the robots when they were fighting. Other stuff was worse. Like Megan Fox, giving characterization to all the wrong characters, big plot holes.
On Saturday, I helped my Dad save 500 bucks on a new car, since the one he had was causing more problems than it was worth, and he wanted to take advantage of the CARS rider in the military spending bill before the money was gone. I was surprised at how much the price of some of the cars has gone up since I last went shopping for a car.
Sunday, went to Jeff's game, did the Superhero thing. We got plenty sidetracked, which in a way is good role playing, but when we're trying to save the planet, and we're effectively haggling down the price of rope, it can torpedo the drama. Plus the out of character stuff doesn't help. It was still fun though.
This weekend is the 4th of July, always fun. I might go see Public Enemies, since it looks pretty good. GI Joe is coming out soon as well, I am not sure if I'd want to see that. On the one hand, it looks awesome. On the other hand, it looks retarded. I'm not one to complain that my childhood is being raped, but I really don't like those powered armor suits they have.
