Hurdle Jumped
On Thursday I tackled my biggest fear...driving. Yes folks, that is right, I passed my drivers test and now have a Vermont issued driver's license. I have dreaded driving for as long as I can remember. For the last ten years I have done everything to avoid having to do it. However, as with most fears it was holding me back from some really great opportunities and causing me a few annoyances. (Mainly my boss harping on me....) Now I am sharing Dave's shiny black Saturn. I hope to drive to work on Monday. (No more creepy taxi guy.)
It is amazing how easy fears are conquered once you have the courage to face them. I will be nervous when I drive for awhile yet, but I am more confident and I haven't had one car wreck dream yet. (Always good, I used to have them all the time when I was little.)
