Yesterday I went to buy earphones.
I went by train. I went to J&R and got out at the Fulton Street station. I was able to see the gap in the downtown skyline, closed streets and traffic detours.
I saw an unmeasurable number of tourists taking photographs of New York's greatests shameful moment since the blackout of '77.
There were several cranes and support beams holding up air. I saw contruction workers scratching their armpit hair.

Monday morning, I found a broken tree limb in a park near my biking route. I thought it was rather cool looking. This morning I went by and found that someone removed the Caution tape. It must have recently fallen with the thunder storms of last Friday...so I wonder when the city will get around to fixing it.
The park is very popular among families.
