He really wasn't a demon magnet all along - he's always been a trouble magnet. It's just that in Sunnydale most trouble came wrapped in a demon-shaped package. Much of his trouble since then has been distinctly human-shaped.

That's always been my theory. As evidenced by the frequent bombings and drive-bys and Hinds he has to deal with.

Honestly, the random slayer meetings I always just chalked up to being the Heart in the enjoining spell and its aftermath. Nothing gets you picked out of a crowd by the mystically touched like having had the First Slayer wreck shop in your dreams.

Also, its gonna be great to see some rodeo-tastic violence again :)

Mystical touches, like in the previous story, is going to be a bit of a theme in this one.

More on that later, though, when it actually happens. Right now, I'm looking forward to the car chases and helicopter crashes and blowing up buildings that are to come.

Assuming, of course, that that's in the future, heh.
