Well, I am in phoenix now, using the public wi-fi, I have a nice long flight to England and than a five hour one from London to Amman....

I leave the country soon, for a few months, I am excited and nervous, but fortunately I am more curious about what I will be learning there.

Last night I had a very literary, very interesting post to finish up the semester, but currently I am more introspective than anything else.

I found packing for the trip to be rather hard to do, not the actual packing, but the process of putting things together and focusing on the process of packing itself. I found myself hanging out with pepper or taking baths instead. The sum time was probably under an hour and a half... just spread out over two days.

It will be nice, I am looking forward to the desert.

Interesting points thus far:
I flew on an MD80 for the umpteenth time.
I have almost finished one novel, I might buy another one in london in preperation for the eight hour wait.
Since entering the aiport I have only spoken six times. I feel strangely quiet, withdrawn, as if waiting for the unexpected.

So long America, see you in a few months,
Jordan, I will see you on thursday.

Masalaama!
Whittaker
