I called my parents and left a message on Mom's cell telling her I had news, and she called back.
Me: Hi Mom!
Mom: This is both your parents, on speakerphone!
Me: Hi Dad!
Mom: What's your news?
Me: I had my phone interview, and less than an hour later, I got an e-mail saying I was accepted!
Momdad: *Loud cheering*
Dad: I guess the interview went well, then!
Me: Yeah, I had thought it did . . .
Mom: That makes my day. But we should go - we're at the bank.
That explains the random people I could hear in the background . . . :P
