Amsterdam
Guys, I got a job there.
From February 1 I will start working there as a translator as a marketing company. I got the contract this week.
I am half excited and half freaking out - I have no news about accomodation, no flight nor bus ticket and everything is so chaotic.
In December I bought a terribly orange T-shirt with painted tulips. It was so Dutch I couldn´t resist. I am sure its orange magic has something to do with all these changes. It has eye-bleeding potential and I am so going to wear it on Queen´s Day (provided the company keeps me long enough)!
It will be amazing to practice Dutch and get to know the city. I have visited it before, but only for one day, and everything was hurried. Beautiful, but crazy. (And the streets smelt funny, they really did.)
At the same time my friend is moving to Luxembourg and we are planning Benelux adventures.
I still can´t believe it´s happening.
(Maybe in a few weeks I will start moaning about my hate for marketing and for telecommunications in particular, but I want to go for it!)
