(no subject)
Hello,
I decided to start writing in lj again, inspired partly by galaxylily. I am watching Jurassic Park, when I probably should be packing (I have to go back to O-town tomorrow). Life has been pretty boring and average lately, although I have high hopes for 2008. Well, sort of. Yay, Obama! I didn't make any solid New Year's resolutions- I sort of made a laundry list of things to do or stop doing, but I didn't set anything in stone. Not that New Years resolutions should be taken completely seriously. Or that I ever keep them. But anyhoo...
I need to start thinking about the future. That's for sure.
Boring update (hehe, I almost wrote boring upstates. That too)
Romance: Single since Sept. Happy. I like it. People don't seem to understand that I actually enjoy being single, seeing as most people want a bf/gf/otp of some sort. I think I've wanted to be single for a long time. Besides, there really is no one I would want to date at the moment.
Finance: Could be better. Could be worse. My car's currently in the shop, so probably worse. But I'm not completely bankrupt. I think I am going to get a second job in January, if just to help with bills and other expenses. Rent's actually pretty affordable, but I guess you get what you pay for. I do look forward to living in a beautiful house for J-term, although I won't want to go back to the slums afterward! Maybe if the 2nd job works out, I can move to a nicer place.
Career/Work/Next Year: Work's fine. I don't really want to go back, cuz I'm LAZY! Seriously, I am. I haven't a clue what I'm doing next year, and I haven't put much thought into it. Except to fret and worry in a counterproductive manner.
Well, that's all, really. I should start to pack. Heh, Jurassic Park is the awesomest movie ever (hehe, spellcheck offers Awesome St. as an alternative to awesomest. I want to live on Awesome St!).
