About a Certain Kind of Bug
It's 3.07 in the morning and I have to get up at 10 tomorrow but I felt the need to at least write *something* before I sleep so I'll keep this really short. This is taken from some random Friday 5. I'll try and think up something better when I'm not pressed for time and/or motivated enough to do so.
Q. What bugs truly freak you out?
BUTTERFLIES. Holy shit guys these insects give me the heebly jeeblies. I have never been ashamed to admit that I am adverse to any kind of winged insect that has a wingspan of more than 2 cm in length. It's just unnatural and weird, like they're alien lifeforms that come to consume this good earth and all that exists in it.
Okay, I might be exaggerating a bit but I really do hate the things and will never grab one willingly. If I had to touch one of them I would throw a shoe at it first, to make sure it stays put when I do. And even then I'd still shake and whimper like a pathetic child.
Butterflies and moths are bad enough, but you know what's the worst species? Atlas moths. Oh my jeebus those things are unholy. Just typing about it now is creeping me out. Brrrrrr.
Okay my five minutes are up so that's all you get and I'm going to sleep.
Please do not let me dream of the damned things tonight.
