Maculele
Well, the reason i'm sore is 'cause we started up maculele in capoeira class last night. Apparently, we are learning this because we are gonna be in some performance later. Basically, maculele is dancing with a partner where you hit sticks together on a certain beat. The really cool thing about it is that you get to freestyle in between that beat. It took a little practice but josh and i caught on and were making jackasses out of ourselves (of course). Yeah, coming up with stupid ways to bang sticks is pretty fun. It's also fun when you bang sticks together and they break apart and throw splinters on the floor where you're dancing with your bare feet. I plan on practicing maculele and blowing everyone away with my brilliant stick-banging technique.
