wow...
well...this is an odd post. i didn't know it affected me as much as i thought it would, but the death of a guy i knew in high school bothers me. he was a musical genius. i mean...REALLY. he took 2nd in a national Jimi Hendrix contest when he was 17. the guy that won was 45 and had been playing for years. isaac cunningham figgs was the greatest guy i knew. maybe a lil bit of a weirdo but everyone is. he was awesome. i knew him and i considered him one of those guys i can trust. he took his life on dec 30th. he was in his own house, at home on christmas break from college. and he took his life. man... i knew the guy...i knew his passions, dreams, everything. and he killed himself. that bothers me. a lot. i was lookin around online today at work and randomly went to myspace, looked up people within my area code back home...and a memorial to isaac was one of the pages. a friend of his made the page. man. this blows my mind...
