An Actual Update!
Now, everyone SHOULD know that I'm leaving tomorrow for 10 days to go to India for a study tour. I'm really, really, super excited and I've been preparing since October.
So I've got all my supplies and once the laundry is finished, I'm going to pack everything up in my little bag. :)
I hope it all will fit. I am an expert when it comes to saving space, so this will definately be a challenge.
Aside from the trip, I've got good news and BETTER news. The good news is that I am now OFFICIALLY a Fashion Merchandising student. It was so easy! They only needed to switch around ONE of my classes, and it's at the same time as the last one! I'm really excited about it. I think I will do MUCH better. The BETTER news is that I finally got a job! The lady at the Bagel place said that once I get back from India, we'll start training. Yayy! This week haas just been TOO GOOD. And it's only Wednesday!
Monday was so so so busy. I ran across the street about 10 times getting signatures in the WRONG ORDER.. Then I had the job interview, and I got a B+ on my Textiles final (which is also a merchandising class).
I don't think she checked my Journal, to tell you the truth. She gave me a D on the midterm, and I didn't even change anything since then. She graded all the same stuff as a B+. HEY, I'm not complaining. :)
Later, we went to Squee's place and had a cute little party for me 'cause my birthday is the 25th, and I'm going to be on the trip. They made the cake themselves and it was beautiful! It also tasted really good. I love cake. :D Here are some pictures.
Hehe. We look so doofy. There are two pictures that I really wanted, but I don't remember who took them. I thought it was Lynnette, but she said she didn't have them.
Anyway, I had a lot of fun on Monday. I've been extremely happy ever since. I feel good about leaving for my trip in such a great mood. :)
I leave for the airport tomorrow at 1.15PM. There's going to be a bus waiting at school to bring me and the rest of the group. I have only met a couple other people who are going, but I learned real early not to listen to some people. I talked to this old german lady who was going, and everything she told me turned out to be wrong! I have to keep on my toes, I guess.
My mom can't bring me though, so my dad has to. My mom is real funny. She got picked for Jury Duty this week. I told her that she wasn't supposed to tell anyone she was a decent person! That's why my dad is always rejected from jury duty.
This lady at my mom's work gave me a 100.00 gift card. Apparently my mom talks so well about me, that the lady at her work loves me sooo much and I only met her once! Great going, mom. :D My grandma also gave me 100.00 which I will use on the trip.
Well, laundry is done! Time to pack! :)
