in spanish, since we're doing a unit on 'el cuerpo,' we had to all say what we ate for breakfast and lunch. when i answered what i had for breakfast, i revealed to the class that i had a peppermint mocha every morning. then, when it came time to answer what we ate for lunch, i realized that i usually have another coffee and a bag of sun chips. like, i really do. every day. so i said, in spanish, 'soy muy embarassada (i didn't know how to say 'embarassed, so i made it up), pero yo come un cafe para almuerzo tambien.' senora then told me that 'embarassada' actually means 'pregnant'. so now she probably thinks i'm pregnant or something. when i left class, she pulled me aside and told me that if i ever needed to 'talk to her about anything personal,' she'd be available for support and advice. awesome.

i've been listening to alot of pavement lately.
especially, 'cut your hair'.
